Whether in search of a basic breakfast taco with chef-driven ingredients is in order or a traditional, taqueria-style offering, these ten breakfast tacos and burritos will cure any craving.

There are just four options – chorizo, bacon, or potato with egg and spicy bean and cheese – but that’s plenty. Order one of each Tuesday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for breakfast taco bliss.
Velvet Taco’s breakfast tacos are a bit wilder than the average taqueria’s options. Try the chicken and waffletaco, a concoction with crisp chicken tenders, peppered bacon, peppercorn gravy, green apple slaw, maplesyrup, red chile aioli, and chives on a waffle tortilla. There’s also theshrimp and gritstaco, with blackened shrimp, creole remoulade, crispy pepper jack cheese grits,charred tomato salsa, and micro cilantro on a corn tortilla. El Come Taco’s lunch options are stellar, but they might be even better at breakfast. Add avocado to the chorizo and egg taco and it’s practically a healthy meal. It’s not a taco, but Come Taco’s breakfast torta is also definitely worth ordering.

At Taco Joint, there’s a breakfast taco option for pretty much everyone. Healthy eaters can go for egg whites and black beans with salsa, or go all-out with refried beans, potatoes, eggs, and plenty of glorious cheese. Don’t sleep on the spicy braised pork and egg taco, either.
It might be a tiny taqueria, but La Ventana is a pretty massive taco operation. The breakfast tacos here are served on tortillas made freshly every single damn day, and that may be the most important part of the equation. Fill one with scrambled eggs, chorizo or bacon and potato, resulting in a killer breakfast taco for $2.50, or a delicious breakfast burrito for $6.50.
This Austin import is famous for its breakfast tacos. Stuff a tortilla with Tacodeli's ridiculous assortment of fillings (well, at least four of them) for around $3. Feeling indecisive and want something healthy? Go with The Vaquero, eggs scrambled with grilled corn, roasted peppers, and jack cheese.
